Passionate about the polar navigations, we will be happy to welcome you in an small group and family atmosphere onboard Havella.

We were responsible of various charter boats in Norway and Svalbard.
We enjoy sharing our naturalist knowledge of the polar environment.
We are also fond of hiking and of sea kayaking.

Vincent

20 years of maritime experiences on all the Oceans of the world. 

After a training as a naturalist, I am a fully French and Norwegian certified Captain.

Fisherman, former yacht captain and sailing competitor, among all my sailing experiences, I was first mate on SY Tara (former Peter Blake's Seamaster), sailing halfway around the Arctic, from Norway to Bering strait, via NE passage.
I was also captain of charter boats in Norway and Iceland, and of the BigWalls-Big Seas expedition to Greenland.

Celine

After working as a naval architect in London and in the USA, I went sailing in the great South. During 3 seasons, in Antarctica and South Georgia, I was crew, on Jérôme Poncet's boat, in the filming of the BBC's Planet Earth animal documentaries and in the project "Genesis" of photographer Sebastiao Salgado.
I've also sailed as deckhand/cook onboard various boats in Norway and Svalbard and on SY Tara (former Peter Blake's Seamaster) in the Pacific and halfway around the Arctic. I am fully certified as French professional captain 200.

Onboard Havella, I am happy to prepare fresh home cooked meals with local flavors.

Yse

As the youngest crew onboard, our 8 years old daughter feels at home onboard in any conditions.
She likes to share her enthousiasm for any hikes in the wild and for swimming in cold sea water.
